Astrology cancer woman

Tuesday, December 29th, 2009

According to astrology, the Cancer woman may appear to be the sweet shy girl that men carry
around in their mental photo album, but just like the Crab, you must not let yourself be fooled
by the exterior. The Cancer woman can be wildly sensual. Plumb the depths of her sensuality
and you get eroticism and a flaming of the banked fires within her. When the inner Cancer woman
is released, you will see fireworks.

You must pick up on her diffident manner from the beginning however. If you are confident
about the truth of astrology then make sure you give the Cancer woman your best shot because
she won’t give you a second chance to earn her trust. Trust is vitally important to her.
The Cancer woman doesn’t give her heart away lightly; however, she will be undying in her love
to the man who makes her feel secure.

You don’t need to be concerned about the Cancer woman indulging in a fling. Her astrological
sign makes her trustworthy and she will cling tenaciously to the man she trusts. At the same
time, a betrayal by someone in whom she had placed her trust is totally devastating emotionally.
She may never be able to forgive, at least not on an emotional level.

Often a man meeting a woman under the astrological sign of Cancer for the first time will feel
she is flirtatious, but never with an ‘in your face’ type of flirtatiousness. Her flirtatiousness
is quiet and subtle. She is never seen as a flamboyant personality. Instead, she has a
personality full of richness, depth and gentleness. Not only does she appreciate romance,
she’s convinced that the secret of life is love, love, love. She wants to share the secret
with her dream man.

Does all this sound somewhat corny and old-fashioned? It is old-fashioned, but that is part of
the charm of an Cancer woman. Her astrological make-up leads the man in her life to feel
protective toward her and in turn provides her with the security of his protection. The Cancer
woman is a sentimentalist at heart. She’s the person who has a keepsake box full of faded
corsages, love notes, pictures of the senior prom and a treasured friend. She’s the one who
stays in touch with classmates and family.

Her devotion to her mate and family makes her home a place that the man in her life never wants
to leave. She is imaginative, sympathetic, feminine, romantic, affectionate, and above all
sweetly seductive. The Cancer astrological sign woman is the quintessential female.

Yahoo astrology

Monday, December 28th, 2009

Yahoo recently has joined the growing movement toward select market appeal by setting aside
space for astrology related information, advertising and free offers.

A number of topics have been grouped together under the general heading of Yahoo Astrology,
some of which seem to bear little resemblance to one another. One example on the Yahoo
astrology page is combining Astrology and Health. Both subjects are part of one web page.

Even within the general heading of astrology, however, is a heavy concentration on dating
sites, psychic readings and numerology to name a few. Additional Yahoo links include love
compatibility, financial questions and health issues.

Assuming that all these peripheral pages have some connection, no matter how vague to the
general subjects of astrology and/or health, we can next look at the horoscope reading
presented on the Yahoo page. The Yahoo Astrology and Health home page has a Cosmic Calendar
written by Mark Lemur for Astrology.com. Indeed, much of the material on the web page appears
to have connections to Astrology.com

The home page Cosmic Calendar is a significantly large-sized horoscope like document on the
page. However, one would wonder how something written on so large a scale could possibly be
helpful to the individual. Even if one believes in astrology, to sit down and read a best
seller at 10: 43 pm this evening until 6:52 am PST seems a bit regimented. The other thing
difficult to understand is the repeated references to such things as Venus making a flowing
quintile aspect to Neptune of 72 degrees mean little other than to another astrologer.

If one goes to the next level of web pages at the Yahoo Astrology site, reached through
clicking on one of the web sun sign symbols, one will arrive at an explanation and a place
where communication is possible, concerning individual signs. Each page consists of a one to
two page explanation of the course of action for that particular sign. The complexity of the
message is somewhat higher and the message is slightly more detailed.

Links from this imbedded page take you to famous people with the same natal sign, and yet
another level of horoscope, this one giving you a choice of activation at the daily, weekly,
monthly, career, health, or financial emphasis. .Again, multiple advertisements and links which
sometimes seem to be leading around in circles, means that many of the users can be quite
confused in following the paths issued.

Astrology classes and courses

Sunday, December 27th, 2009

Astrology classes and courses usually are undertaken when the person either has developed an
interest in the subject beyond the scope of the off-the shelf books and materials available at
the public library. Even access to the increased internet informational sources is not enough
for this eager learner. It is the person who may eventually move beyond mere hobby status to
the professional field, but must first determine if the subject is enough to satisfy for a
lifetime.

The second type of learner in the astrology classes and courses are those who may be
professionals or devoted hobbyists, but wish to sharpen skills or add to the knowledge base,
in order to better serve their clients. Sometimes the students simply come to the class in
order to interact with other devotees in the field of astrology.

Astrology classes are offered in several venues. The first of course that comes to mind is the
internet. Some very effective and high level classes are available on the World Wide Web.
These classes are often taught by well-known astrologists who happen to also have the gift of
conveying information. Since much of the course material is prepared for self -paced learning,
the advantage of working as quickly or as thoroughly through the material as desired is one
major plus for internet courses. A similar advantage exists with computer software courses
which can be plugged into the DVD drive of your home computer.

In larger areas, an astrologer will sometimes offer individual or group classes in astrological
subjects. These can even be associated with a community or local college, but also can be part
of a club or social organization. They may be correspondence, on-line or live symposia.

There are also a limited number of schools specifically chartered for the purpose of teaching
astrology classes and courses. An example of this type of institute is Kepler College located
in Lynnwood, Washington which is accredited with the Washington State Higher Education
Coordinating Board and is authorized to offer two majors and five minors in astrological
classes and courses at the Bachelor of Arts level.

An adjunct to self-study would be to combine with other people with similar interests and work
jointly to accomplish astrology courses and classes, perhaps with access from others in the
local community. Speakers and trainers could be imported to assist in presenting special
interest courses, perhaps as a two to four day seminar, or even as an evening or Saturday
session.

Astrology

Saturday, December 26th, 2009

Astrology is the study of the locations of the heavenly bodies with the belief that they have a
direct impact on the course and events of one’s life and also that they affect the
characteristics present in the personality.

Man has always looked to the world about him in an attempt to prove he is part of a well-ordered
and stable universe. To look at the sweep of the night sky, as was done by herdsmen, fishermen
and primitive farmers, and try to relate the movement of the stars and constellations to worldly
events was to attempt to find consolation and direction in existence-to prove that life has
meaning beyond sheer chance.

More importantly, early man, as is the case with men today, had a driving need to know the
future. When one’s life is dependent upon the food from the field or forest, the knowledge
of whether the harvest or hunt will be successful takes on more importance. Similarly, the
desire to know how the battle with one’s enemies would play out was part of knowing the future.
Will I be victorious or a captive of the opposing forces at day’s end?

Astrology thus, consists of two main premises:

1. The universe is not the result of chance. It follows precise rules and laws. It is orderly
and predictable.
2. I am part of an orderly universe; therefore the events which will happen in my future are
orderly and predictable.

Factor number one is easily proved. Mankind could follow the course of the constellations and
stars across the night sky through the seasons and years and track, record and predict their
path. Factor number two was not much of a stretch to believe, once premise one is determined
to be true.

The next phase then, in the study of astrology is to move the stars from being an example of
the order of the universe to the role of being the CAUSE of order in universe. Therefore,
mankind began to consult the astrologers (originally the same as astronomers) to determine
the most propitious time some future action should be planned. Would the stars favor a
military battle in June or August? Should the royal marriage be planned for one month in the
future or six months from now?

All in all, astrology represents a movement from chaos to order.

Astrology chart reading

Friday, December 25th, 2009

Astrology chart reading is both an art and a science. The science part is in determining the
almost mathematical placement of signs and planetary bodies on a chart. This can be easily
accomplished by anyone with attention to detail and ability to comprehend simple instructions.
A computer software program can plot all the appropriate symbols and print them out on a piece
of paper as well. The computer can even splice together various statements from signs and
planets characteristics and make them read in a coherent fashion. Granted, some software is
better than others at this task.

However, the art of astrology chart reading is one which is difficult to quantify into a
computer. It requires a person of above average intelligence who is able to comprehend,
quantify and sort masses of information needed in the compilation of the final report. The
skillful astrologer needs to have a good memory for detail as well as being a fairly skilled
researcher in order to lay his or her hands on some obscure bit of information which may help
to flesh out the report.

The astrologer who is successful in astrology chart reading is one who has sensitivity where
people are concerned. The astrologer must be able to pick up on many signals, verbal, physical
or sometimes written in order to determine the most effective way of presenting the information
which has been garnered through the use of the charting science. An almost intuitive feel for
the client’s needs and desires, as well as an understanding gained from the various aspects of
the client’s chart will help to determine the most effective means of communication.
For example, for a Cancer client, who does not like secrets, a very open ingenuous style of
presentation may be more effective than a more mysterious technique.

A successful astrologer, who is interested in effective astrology chart reading, will need
to be very good at communication, both orally and in written format. If the client is present
in person, different types of communicating information may be more effective than in the
preparation of the formal written reading. Again, this depends in large part upon the study of
the chart for the client and the determination as to which technique will work with a particular client.

One other trait makes for effective astrology chart reading, and that is self-confidence.
If you have learned the science of chart preparation and do it well, you must also be confident
in the results which you have prepared and be able to deliver those results in such a way that
they are believable to the client.

Astrology counseling

Tuesday, December 22nd, 2009

Sometimes we will become trapped in such problematic experiences that we are unable to determine
by ourselves what the next step should be. In times like these, we urgently need to find
someone to consult for help and enlightenment. We may even be reluctant to ask family and
close friends for advice and assistance, because they may be biased in one direction or another
and therefore cannot provide impartial advice. For this reason, we sometimes need to find
another source of counseling. Astrology counselors can be a very good source for counsel in
all areas of life.

In determining who to consult for astrology counseling, it is best to continue an established
relationship rather than to go to a stranger, who may or may not understand your needs, traits
and ways of interacting. If you regularly consult an astrologer, and they are aware of your
strong points and weakness, they can be of assistance in two ways.

First, they know how you express yourself, what types of communication styles work best in
dealing with you and they are able to share counsel with you in the way which will be best
received by you. Presumably if contact has been maintained over a period of time, they will
have information about you and your life which you may not even be aware of sharing.

Astrology counseling can be more effective than other types of counseling, because of the added
dimension of the forces of planets and stars which affect your characteristics, traits and ways
of reacting to crises in your life. This is not to say that other counseling doesn’t work,
just that when determining a path or course to follow using every bit of insight possible into
the characteristics and traits is going to mean a higher likelihood of the decisions being
happy ones.

In astrology counseling, the counselor works with you to determine the path you want to take,
and how best to accomplish your goals in accordance with your strengths.

The goal of astrology counseling is to assist you in self-direction, not to live your life for
you. The wise counselor will know when to advise and when to keep silent. Counseling will
never take the form of micromanaging your life.

Before beginning counseling sessions, it is wise to set a list of priorities for your self.
Do not plan to have questions answered by the counselor, only to be assisted in determining
how to answer your questions yourself. In this way, you will gain insight and assistance in
knowing how you want to proceed with your life.

Astrology signs

Monday, December 21st, 2009

Astrology signs are fascinating subjects. One wonders how the qualities were determined
originally. Perhaps it was through generations of observing characteristics of people born
under the sign and charting characteristics carefully.

SUN SIGNS

The first grouping of the astrology signs is simply imaging the night sky as a 360 degree
circle divided into twelve equal parts. The astrology signs

Financial astrology

Sunday, December 20th, 2009

The concept of financial astrology is not one that is far removed from the astrological
mainstream. Since astrology is concerned with human behavior, particularly the mental
characteristics which make up human behavior, it is not a far stretch to understand how the ebb
and flow of the financial markets are also related to human behavior.

Financial astrology is the study of cause and effect of human emotions and characteristics upon
the financial aspects of life. It is not unreasonable to comprehend that as the planets and
heavenly bodies have influence upon individuals and societies, their movement will also affect
waves of the financial markets.

W D Gann a successful trader living in the United States in the early 1900s amazed the business
world with his techniques for picking market highs and lows over time. What is not as well
known is that Mr. Gann spent years in India studying the subject of Vedic astrology.
Techniques developed by Gann have repeatedly been proven to be successful and are still being
studied and analyzed in today’s world. When asked to explain the success of Gann financial
methods, he named ”The Law of Natural Vibrations

Astrology software

Saturday, December 19th, 2009

In general, astrology software is akin to every other software program which has become
available with the advent and popularity of personal computers. There is extremely poorly put
together software and there are some which are worth their weight in personal astrological
charts.

General groups of astrology software usually fall into one of the following categories:

Charting Software – Recommended software will include those with ease of use, with flexibility
in personalizing charts and displays, and with accurate, well-written descriptions which are
accessed once the charting has been accomplished. Popular charting programs include Solar Fire
for professional astronomers and TimePassages which can be used by professionals and lay people
alike.

Astrology Research Software – This invaluable group of software programs contain marvelous
databases with traits, characteristics and behavioral qualities, The researcher might start
from a trait such as Alzheimer’s and study what, if any correlations can be drawn from a
comparison with the natal sun signs.

Natal Reports – Many astrologers give a semi-polite sneer at the idea of a computerized natal
report being able to provide the skill and personalized attention to detail provided by the in
person astrologer. But, if care is taken in the selection of software, much can be learned
from computerized natal reports. In selecting this software, it’s important to keep in mind
the level of detail required; the writing style; the consistence with existing software; and
whether the reports are for personal use or for resale.

Compatibility reports provide computerized programs for learning about relationship. Again,
the writing in the computerized program needs to be fresh, interesting and if possible

Astrology symbols

Thursday, December 17th, 2009

Astrology sun signs (and planetary bodies as well) are represented with glyphs or pictographs.
Each sign has its own unique glyph and each glyph has a story to tell.

Some of the common astrology symbols are as follows:

Aries

The pictograph for the Ram consists of a representation of the horns and long nose of the Ram.
It also pictures the eyebrows and nose of man (the part of the human anatomy that Aries rules).

Taurus

The pictograph represents the horns and head of the Bull. It also outlines the chin and Adam’s
apple of the human throat (the part of the human anatomy that Taurus rules).

Gemini

The pictograph represents the two figures of the Twins. The dual symbol also pictures the
human arms or lungs (the part of the human anatomy that Gemini rules).

Cancer

The pictograph represents the claws of the Crab. It is also a picture of the human breasts
(the part of the human anatomy that Cancer rules).

Leo

The pictograph represents two valves of the human heart (the part of the human anatomy that
Leo rules). It is also the Greek symbol for the first letter of Leo

Virgo

The symbol represents a Virgin, for it is a pictograph of the human reproductive organs closed
and untouched (the part of the human anatomy that Virgo rules).

Libra

The pictograph represents the Scale, which is in perfect equilibrium. This was the ancient
Egyptian symbol for the setting sun, which was regarded as the doorway between two worlds.

Scorpio

The pictograph is the stinger of the Scorpion connected to a representation of the human
reproductive organs (the part of the human anatomy that Scorpio rules). This was the symbol in
ancient times for the phoenix, bird of immortality and regeneration.

Sagittarius

The pictograph represents the free-ranging, pointed arrow of the Archer. It is also a picture
of the human leg from thigh to knee (the part of the human anatomy that Sagittarius rules).

Capricorn

The pictograph represents the V-shaped beard of the Goat and the curved tail of the Fish
(the Sea-Goat, which was the ancient symbol for Capricorn). It also pictures the human knee and
circular kneecap (the part of the human anatomy that Capricorn rules).

Aquarius

The pictograph represents the water which flows from the vessel of the Waterbearer. It is also
a picture of the human ankle in motion (the part of the human anatomy that Aquarius rules).

Pisces

The pictograph represents two Fishes tied together. It is also a picture of the human feet
(the part of the human anatomy that Pisces rules).
